Growth Groups exist to foster authentic relationships by connecting people with people, God, and ministry.
Growth Groups operate on a Biblical model outlined in Acts 2:42-47 which includes four primary elements:
A Growth Group is made up of 10‑16 people who meet the first and third weeks of every month to study, to share, and to support one another in their Christian lives. Each group is led by a trained leader and host couple. A typical meeting lasts for an hour and a half, followed by light refreshments.
Our Growth Groups meet on various days and nights of the week in homes throughout the community. There are a few groups, mostly for senior adults that meet at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. Children’s GG meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 and youth GG meet in homes throughout the community during the week. To see a complete list of the available groups, click here.
All groups have adopted a sermon-based teaching style. The studies are based on the previous weekend’s sermon. Each week the sermon notes can be found on the back of the bulletin. Also located on the back of the bulletin are response questions. These questions are used to provoke conversation at each of the Growth Group meetings.
